Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley is demanding Barry Moat come good with his takeover offer.

Ashley's patience with Moat's proposed Newcastle takeover is wearing thin.

Toon's owner has slashed the asking price by £20m. Moat has yet to prove he can finance a deal.

Ashley rapped: "Barry Moat has been driving me mad for two years.

"If he wants to buy the club, he's got a one-off opportunity to come up with the cash - £80m up front."
