Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley did not speak with manager Rafa Benitez after their draw at Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The Daily Star says Ashley left Selhurst Park without uttering a word to Benitez.
Sources have confirmed to Starsport that the under-fire retail magnate snubbed Benitez by making no attempt to meet him either before or after their goalless draw against Crystal Palace.
The Toon boss had been made aware that Ashley would be present along with managing director Lee Charnley, PR advisor Keith Bishop and key lieutenant Justin Barnes.
Benitez admitted afterwards he was pleased Ashley attended his first Newcastle game in 17 months so he could see for himself the results of his lack of investment.
