Newcastle United have offered new contracts to two young players.
The Evening Chronicle says Michael Richardson, 18, has been offered a new deal at St James' after impressing last season in the reserve team.
Richardson was plucked from non-league Walker Central and forced his way into the first-team pool towards the end of the campaign.
The club have also confirmed that Geordie boy Ryan Donaldson has also been offered a new contract.
