Newcastle United midfielder Jonjo Shelvey is interesting Besiktas.

Reports in Turkey have suggested that Besiktas are interested in signing Shelvey in the winter window.

The midfielder is getting close to a return after a calf injury kept him out of the Premier League's restart after the World Cup.

The Turkish transfer window is open until February 8 which would give them more time to do a deal.

Meanwhile, Besiktas are pushing to cut short Dele Alli's loan from Everton.
