Newcastle United midfielder Nabil Bentaleb is a hot property this summer.
The Algeria international is wanted by clubs around the world, as he contemplates his next move.
He is on loan with the Magpies until the end of this season, but is likely to leave Schalke in the summer.
Newcastle do have an £8.5 million clause they can use to make the move permanent.
Bentaleb has impressed since arriving, and The Chronicle says he would happily stay.
But German sources claim that clubs in Russia, China and Saudi Arabia are also on the trail of the Algerian.
The 25-year-old could be the first signing of Newcastle United's new owners - PCP Capital Partners - if that deal goes through.
