Newcastle United have tabled a new contract offer to Bobby Clark.

The Magpies have a scholarship on the table for the son of former Toon star Lee Clark, and would like him to remain at the club where his dad became a terrace idol in the 1990s, says Chronicle Live.

The club have now left that decision to the player and his family.

Clark has burst on to the scene in Newcastle's youth system and made his Under-18 debut at the age of just 14 and he has already represented England at youth level.

Reports have suggested that Clark is keen on Liverpool as Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is keen on handing youngsters their chance on the big stage.
