Newcastle United are interested in Swiss star Tranquillo Barnetta.
The Sunday Sun says United had scouts at Wembley on Saturday, watching Swiss goal hero Barnetta.
Barnetta is available from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
The attacking midfielder has been watched extensively by Toon chief scout Graham Carr.
