Newcastle United legend Malcolm Macdonald admits he's enjoying Eddie Howe's team this season.
Supermac wrote for Chronicle Live: "Let Newcastle go out and end an extraordinary month with a flourish by beating Aston Villa. They have won four times and drawn once during a wonderful October scoring 12 times in the process and letting in only three.
"Remember, too, that draw was at Manchester United which I think any side would accept and United then convincingly beat Spurs who had enjoyed 10 successive home victories.
"All of it leaves United fourth top as they prepare to welcome Villa. Honestly this has been one of the most exciting periods I can recall and it has been an absolute privilege to witness this team in action.
"Every single player as well as Eddie Howe and the staff get a thumbs up from me. Now let United sign off with another outstanding victory."
