Newcastle and Leeds are watching Nantes winger Moses Simon this season.

The French Ligue 1 side are asking for £20million for the 26-year-old, says the Shields Gazette.

The Saudi-backed Magpies are the favourites for Simon's signature due to their ability to offer higher wages than Leeds.

He is claimed to be asking for £100,000 a week for his next contract and this is not a wage that the Whites would want to sanction other than for a star player.
