Newcastle United are launching a bid for Hamburg striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga.
The Daily Mail says Newcastle have made a £7million move for Lasogga.
The 23-year-old Hamburg striker was an option earlier this summer for Steve McClaren but Hamburg want £10m for the former Germany Under 21 international.
Lasogga joined Hamburg on a five-year deal from Bundesliga rivals Hertha Berlin in 2014 having arrived at the club on loan in 2013.
