Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman accepts he needs to leave on-loan next season.

The Evening Chronicle says Woodman is being eyed by Sky Bet Championship duo Norwich City and Sheffield United.

The 21-year-old is keen to leave Newcastle United this summer and is seeking a season-long deal to increase his first-team experience following loan spells at Aberdeen and Kilmarnock in the last two campaigns.

Woodman has just returned from the Toulon Tournament with a winners medal and the goalie of the tournament award.

But he is not keen to spend next season as fourth-choice goalkeeper on Tyneside.
