Newcastle United sent Hatem Ben Arfa packing back to France last week.
The Sunday Express says it is believed the maverick forward let fly in the dressing room after Newcastle's 1-0 defeat at Stoke.
Ben Arfa has become frustrated by a lack of first team starts with Pardew demoting him to the bench or leaving him out all together.
Pardew decided it was better for Ben Arfa to cool down away from St. James' Park. He was told to pack his bags for France while the club's official reason for his absence from training was down to injury.
