Newcastle Jets' Edwards confirms seat glitch issue solved

Newcastle Jets executive chairman Ken Edwards says a minor glitch with ticket sales for the November 27 exhibition match with LA Galaxy has been solved.

Close to 200 tickets were sold for seats in the western stand of EnergyAustralia Stadium that do not exist but Edwards was quick to reveal that the issue had already been dealt with.

"We're aware of about 190 tickets that Pro-ticket had on the system that were actually part of the new construction in the western stand," he said.

"But now that we've been made aware of the problem we've been able to contact all of those people and assure them that they've been relocated into similar or better seats, so that issue has been resolved.

"Everyone has been contacted and been re-seated, they'll be getting their tickets within the next week, and if anyone wants to talk about that with us, or isn't happy with their allocation, I can assure people that they will be."

13,000 members tickets for the match have already been sold with the remainder on sale now. Tickets can be purchased at www.proticket.com.au
