Newcastle United are on the verge of securing the services of Joselu from Stoke City, according to reports from the Chronicle.

Newcastle have faced a lot of frustration in their hopes of signing a new attacker this summer but it looks like the Magpies have finally managed to make a breakthrough recently.

According to reports, the Tyneside club have agreed a £5million fee with Stoke City over the signing of Joselu and the 27-year-old is on the verge of joining the Tyneside based outfit after undergoing a medical with the Magpies.
