Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are set to battle for the signature of Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz this summer.

The La Liga giants are keen admirers of Ruiz.

Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport suggests that Ruiz has serious interest from Newcastle United as well.

His current deal expires in 2023, which means that Napoli may be willing to sell him for a reasonable fee at the end of this season.

The Spanish international is tempted by a move home, but the financial offer from Newcastle is likely to blow Real and Barca out of the water.
