Newcastle United have made contact with Leeds United over signing Raphinha.

Arsenal and Leeds will reportedly talk this over a deal for the Brazil winger.

The Gunners had an opening offer of £65m rejected by the Yorkshire club.

But those plans might be thwarted after Newcastle made contact with Leeds, according to The Northern Echo.

Barcelona, Chelsea and Tottenham have also been linked with the 25-year-old.

Raphinha has two years remaining on his contract.
