Newcastle United are expressing great confidence in securing Joe Willock on loan from Arsenal for another season.
The Magpies had Willock for half of last season, where he impressed hugely and scored some vital goals in the business end of the campaign.
Manager Steve Bruce wants Newcastle to re-sign Willock, either permanently or on loan.
According the Daily Mail, the club are hopeful of a breakthrough in negotiations with Arsenal, which would see Willock lining up for the St. James' Park club for the entire 2021/2022 season.
Willock was promised first team chances by manager Mikel Arteta at Arsenal this season, but he may feel that his path to a regular starting spot is a lot clearer at Newcastle.
