Newcastle United goalkeeper Karl Darlow insists they must "build on" their 2-0 win over Crystal Palace after ending their run of defeats last night.
Darlow was in fine form again with a host of good stops after facing 12 efforts at goal from the Eagles.
He said: "We deserved the three points.
"The way we played in the first half was a stark contrast to the way we've played recently.
"It's a great result for us and we need to build on it."
On goalscorer Joelinton, Darlow added: "Joelinton has always worked very hard for us. It was always going to change for him at some point.
"Tonight he played very well and his work rate and effort has been there every game.
"It's just a case of continuing that for him."
