Newcastle United's pursuit of Olympique Marseille winger Hatem Ben Arfa has cooled.
The Sunday Sun says there has been no contact between Newcastle and Ben Arfa over the last week - dimming hopes of a deal being brokered for the Marseille play maker.
The fiery winger is also interesting several German clubs, including Hoffenheim.
