Newcastle United have gained time in their bid to keep hold of Fabricio Coloccini.
The meeting to decide the defender's future was postponed until next week, says The Sun.
The Toon now have a few more days to try to persuade Coloccini to stay - at least until the end of the season.
Coloccini has personal reasons for wanting to return to Argentina and play for San Lorenzo, even though they cannot match his wages at St James'.
But Newcastle are not prepared to tear up the new four-year contract signed by a player they value at £8million.
