Newcastle United fullback Danny Simpson wants to join his former Manchester United teammates in the Premier League.
Simpson came through the system at United.
He told the Sunday Sun: "I was watching Match of the Day last weekend and a lot of my ex-Manchester United team-mates are now playing regularly.
"They're Premier League players and that's where I need to be now.
"Dave Jones, Fraizer Campbell, Phil Bardsley, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Kieran Richardson, Craig Cathcart, Jonny Evans - these are all lads who I grew up with and I want to be one of them who goes on and proves himself."
