Newcastle United fullback Daryl Janmaat wants talks with Holland coach Guus Hiddink.

Janmaat was left out of Hiddink's squads in the latter part of 2014 but was recalled for the March internationals.

"I was rather surprised because I had been a regular for two years in a row," said the defender.

"I think we will have a chat one of these days. There is plenty of time to do so.

"I prefer a face-to-face meeting rather than an impersonal telephone call."
