Newcastle United are interested in Sochaux midfielder Ryad Boudebouz.

The Sunday Sun says United have been linked with Boudebouz, but the 21-year-old appears to be nearing a move to Liverpool.

"Things happen quickly in football," he said.

"I will only say that I am no longer certain of staying put at Sochaux."
