Newcastle United have pulled back from interest in Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen.

The Northern Echo says Newcastle are set to pull out of the race to sign Bowen from Hull City due to the player's price tag and increasing competition from Tottenham.

The Magpies were understood to be among the Premier League clubs interested in the 22-year-old, but Tthey are ready to drop their interest.

The decision has come as a result of Hull's high valuation of the player, believed to be around £20million, and emerging interest from Spurs.
