Newcastle fans plan open top bus Ashley protest

Newcastle United fans are planning a protest against club owner Mike Ashley.

Open top buses are usually reserved for trophy winning celebrations, but before Saturday's Premier League match at St James' Park a parade will take place through the city in what has been dubbed a 'Magical Misery Tour' in support of the Mike Ashley Out Campaign (MAOC), says the Daily Mail.

The bus will tour the city, stopping at various landmarks along the way - and spectators have been asked to toot their horn if they are in support of ousting the Magpies' beleaguered owner.
