Newcastle United are considering a double swoop on relegated Bournemouth.

The Cherries are likely to sell players for lower fees, with Nathan Ake already set for a move to Manchester City.

And the Telegraph says the Magpies want to nip in and sign Josh King and David Brooks.

The duo are key targets for boss Steve Bruce, who thinks he can fit them into his budget, even if owner Mike Ashley is still the one paying the bills in the transfer window.

Bruce is not happy with the team's attacking options, as the likes of Joelinton, Andy Carroll and Dwight Gayle have not impressed when given opportunities.

Japanese star Yoshinori Muto will be sold, and King may take his place in the squad.

Brooks would add creativity and goals to the team.
