The Spanish press have linked Newcastle United with a move for Joao Felix.
The Atletico Madrid forward is presently on loan at Chelsea until the summer, where he has not impressed sufficiently to earn a permanent deal.
Since Chelsea do not have a buy clause as part of the loan, they would have to negotiate directly with Atletico to sign Felix.
Per Marca, the Blues are not keen to spend a huge sum on Felix, but Newcastle may oblige.
The source claims that since Felix has a poor relationship with Atletico boss Diego Simeone, he will be sold.
The Spanish giants are seeking a fee in the region of £87 million for Felix.
