Newcastle United defender Paul Dummett has hit back at manager Steve Bruce's critics after victory at Tottenham.
Toon hero Dummett found himself under the spotlight after questioning the warm-up at Norwich and took to social media after the Spurs win with a cheeky response: “Warm up was good."
He added: “We had something to prove. It was not good enough last week. We have talked about it and knew we had to change it.
“We know we have to work together and we have done that. It's a credit to everyone involved. If you switch off and wake one mistake that could lead to you losing. We have had to put in a lot of work, it was very tough.
"Being a club like Newcastle, you always have that pressure but we have a good bunch of player and we will always work hard to get the performances and the points.
“We came up with a game plan from start to finish and we managed to not give them any chances."
