Michael Carrick knows nothing further regarding his Manchester United future.

The 34-year-old midfielder is out of contact this summer and admits he is unaware of what exactly will take place when his deal expires.

Carrick has been linked with clubs in China, as well as a shock move to Newcastle United, but insists he is remaining calm about what could be his final few months at Old Trafford.

"I am not sure yet to be honest. I haven't heard anything just at the moment. Hopefully (I will find) some time soon," he said.

"I have been here a long time, I have had some great times here and I love the club. It's a great place to play."
