Newcastle United chief scout Graham Carr will attend the Euros this week.

The Journal says Carr will make a check on Lille fullback Mathieu Debuchy.

Lille have dismissed an initial approach for the player and branded United's offer of around £4million as "unacceptable". Inter Milan have also made an enquiry about the player.
