Newcastle United captain Jamaal Lascelles has warned Liverpool that his side will not make it easy for them on Saturday.
The Reds face off against the Magpies as they look to put the pressure on Manchester City in the title race.
While Newcastle are managed by a former Liverpool boss in Rafa Benitez, Lascelles says they will not be doing any favours for the opposition when the game begins.
"We normally do finish [the season] off strongly [at St James' Park]," Lascelles said to reporters.
"Last season we beat Chelsea 3-0, so we do normally finish off strong. They [Liverpool] will obviously be playing for the title, so they will be flying.
"It won't be like the Chelsea game, where I think they were done and they weren't really playing well.
"But we are going to make it tough, we are going to go for the win, and we want to keep going until the very last game of the season.
"We are going to make it tough for them. They probably know that themselves. It is not a nice fixture to come here, especially with our recent home form."
