Newcastle captain Lascelles takes aim at Wolves: I don't know how they are where they are

Newcastle United captain Jamal Lascelles is the latest Toon player to take a swipe at Wolves.

The defender played at Molineux last Monday as Wolves rescued a point in stoppage time thanks to Willy Boly's close range header.

"I think the game at Wolves felt like a loss," Lascelles told the Newcastle Chronicle.

“Again though it was another good performance and sometimes you want to keep going and play the next one quickly.

“No disrespect to Wolves - and I know they have spent a lot of money - but I don't know how they are where they are.

“I think the difference has been, not our performances, they have been good, but what we lack is being streetwise on the pitch.

“We are putting in good performances in and working hard sometimes we just get frustrated with ourselves.

“Points are there to be taken and if we are smarter and more mature we will get them."
