Marseille forward Clinton N'Jie is being linked with a return to the Premier League.

The Daily Mail says Newcastle United have asked about N'Jie.

The former Tottenham forward is available on loan with view to a permanent deal but also has interest from Burnley, Cardiff and Crystal Palace.

The 25-year-old was set to join Sporting CP on loan last summer but the move collapsed after the clubs failed to agree terms.

The Cameroon international forward enjoyed two productive seasons after joining from Spurs but he has started only four games this season.
