Newcastle United are receiving encouragement in their pursuit of Nicolai Jorgensen from Feyenoord this summer.
The Magpies bid on Jorgensen in the winter, but their offer was not deemed as sufficient for Feyenoord to sell.
But now the Dutch club have reduced the price for Jorgensen, which means that Newcastle are back in with a chance of completing the transfer.
A £15 million bid was rejected in January.
Unfortunately for Feyenoord, Jorgensen had a disappointing World Cup. The tournament did nothing to increase his value.
Now Newcastle have a chance of clinching his signature, if they can match or slightly improve on their January offer.
