Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew is of the belief that one more signing will top off his squad nicely.
The Magpies completed the transfer of Vurnon Anita from Ajax today, adding to the earlier summer captures of Romain Amalfitano, Gael Bigirimana and Curtis Good, but Pardew wants one more to complete a successful transfer window fir the Toon.
"It was pleasing (to sign Anita). Ajax are a fantastic club and to take a player out of there is difficult, especially one of their better players," he said.
"So I thank Mike (Ashley, club owner) and the board for getting that over the line because we needed an extra player.
"We might need another one yet, but for sure that has strengthened us.
"I wouldn't mind it (the transfer window) closing now - I'd be quite happy to keep all my players. But if we manage to add another one that would be the icing on the cake really."
Newcastle kick off their 2012/13 Premier League campaign with a home clash against Tottenham this Saturday.
