Alan Pardew insists he's happy where he is at Newcastle United. Pardew insisted the problems and aggravation - last week's exit of Joe Kinnear just added to the sense of chaos - were all worthwhile.
"I saw Jose (Mourinho) said it's better to work at a crazy big club than a small club, and he's right," said Pardew. "I enjoy it. I know sometimes I don't look like I am. I'm ageing by the day, but I love Newcastle and I love working there.
"It's always a rocky road, but the good days are fantastic and no one will take them away. The fans are absolutely phenomenal and when things go right, it's such a great high.
"Hopefully we'll have another on Wednesday."
