Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger is attracting transfer interest.
The Sunday Sun says Ranger is in demand, with Middlesbrough, Crystal Palace, Carlisle and Lee Clark's Huddersfield Town among the teams looking to take him on a season-long loan.
But Toon boss Chris Hughton is reluctant to release the former Southampton junior.
He told the Sunday Sun: "He's still developing his game here. We like what we see, he's excellent in training and at the moment we feel he's in the best place for him.
"He hasn't got the minutes on the football pitch that he would like. But he's still a very young one, which you can forget.
"He's big and strong which makes many people forget that he's still actually only 19. The best place for his development is here."
