Newcastle United boss Chris Hughton insists Dan Gosling's recovery is on track.
The Daily Star says Hughton has reassured fans that new signing Gosling will return in January after he aggravated a knee injury.
Hughton said: "We're taking advice from specialists. All the talk is he'll make a full recovery."
Gosling sparked controversy this summer after walking out on Everton to sign with Toon.
