Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe included Isaac Hayden for the club's warm weather training trip to the United Arab Emirates.
The squad arrived in Dubai over the weekend with the former Arsenal midfielder on board the flight to the Middle East.
Hayden has not featured for the Magpies since last December when he appeared in the 4-0 defeat against Manchester City before then picking up a knee injury.
Hayden subsequently went under the knife and was then not registered for the second half of the campaign.
However, the Newcastle head coach will take a look at Hayden - who is now back in training - during the club's stay in Dubai.
