Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe has added Adam Bartlett to his coaching staff.
Bartlett was promoted to the role of Newcastle United's head of goalkeeping this week, says Chronicle Live.
The Magpies advertised the vacancy after the departure of Simon Smith.
But with Bartlett working closely with the first-team since January, it was decided that there should be continuity with the goalkeeping coaching staff. It is believed that there were some high profile applicants for the job but Newcastle opted to go for the former England C international stopper.
