Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce is urging Matty Longstaff not to focus on money at this stage in his career.
Bruce believes Longstaff should not be influenced by finances when deciding where he'll be playing next season.
The 20-year-old - currently on £850 a week - has reportedly received a £25,000-per-week offer from Italian club Udinese.
Bruce - who remains desperate for the midfielder to stay - insists Longstaff should make his decision based on football alone.
"I don't know what he's been offered but obviously there are influences out there and people talking to him," Bruce told Sky Sports.
"I think at his age it should all be about a football decision. If you're good enough and you make it to the top, money will find you."
