Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce says no-one at the club will be underestimating Brentford striker Ivan Toney tomorrow night.
After their draw with Fulham on Saturday, Newcastle meet the Bees in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.
On former Magpies striker Toney, Bruce said: "He's done very well. It looks like he's playing with that burning desire to prove people wrong.
"You have to say well done to him. He will be a threat because he's playing with a lot of confidence."
Newcastle's last domestic trophy success was way back in 1955 - something Bruce is all to aware of.
"It's been far too long but we've given ourselves a chance," he said.
"We know how difficult it'll be but let's have a crack, let's enjoy it and see where we get to.
"We've got to accept the challenge and make sure we get to a semi-final - how good would that be?"
