Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce insists Martin Dubravka and Ciaran Clark are staying.
Bruce was asked about the absence of goalkeeper Dubravka after victory at Hibs.
He said: “Dubravka is fine.
“He's at home.
“It was always our aim to give the two other lads 90 minutes.
“Martin will be in goal in Saturday (against St Etienne).
“He is our number one goalkeeper and will remain so. The stuff that's circulating about him is not true.
“I'm delighted that we have Dubravka. There's nothing sinister going on at all."
Bruce also played down talk that Clark will be leaving the club.
He told the Evening Chronicle: “I have had a chat and that is not going to happen."
