Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce is confident being in charge next season.
Bruce has insisted he has no intention of resigning from his position - despite a training ground bust-up with Matt Ritchie and the club's continued struggles above the relegation zone.
Instead, Bruce visualised being in place for the start of next season and believes he will be the man to guide Newcastle to Premier League safety in the next dozen games.
When asked if he was prepared to stick it out for another season, Bruce said: "I sincerely hope so, but that's for others to decide. "What's gone at the football club, let me tell you, and it's vitally important you all understand it: Look, a bust-up, unfortunately, makes huge, huge headlines in Newcastle.
"The disappointing thing for me personally, and the club, is that unfortunately, the so-called journalist has got a source.
"Fair enough, but to try to derail us and cause all this noise before a big game, we could do without it."
