Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez isn't surprised by the impact of Jorginho at Chelsea.

Benitez took the Brazilian-born Italy midfielder, 26, to Napoli in January 2014 in an £8.5million move from Verona.

And he saw Jorginho set a Chelsea record in the Premier League by completing 158 passes in last month's 2-1 win at Newcastle – 27 more than the Toon team.

He said: “At Napoli we wanted a player who could pass the ball and Jorginho has that vision.

“I think he will do well because he is in a good team and if he has the players around him, you can see he passes really well.''
