Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez defended substituting Matt Ritchie during defeat to Leicester City.
Fans chanted for Benitez for long periods during the game but there were pockets of boos from some fans when Ritchie was subbed.
He said: “It's very clear: as I said, they want to win and we want to win.
“We can have different opinions depending on the moment, but you could see we were making substitutions trying to change things, but as soon as we conceded the second goal, it was more difficult for us to keep the intensity."
