Newcastle United have been assured they will get the chance to buy outright West Brom striker Salomon Rondon.
The Evening Chronicle says they will be given every chance to make a permanent move for Rondon this summer - despite the queue of interested clubs in the striker increasing in recent days.
Turkish giants Fenerbahce are keen on the West Brom star's services while West Ham and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also considering a punt on the South American at just £16.5million this summer.
Losing Rondon to a Premier League rival would be a huge blow for Newcastle fans, but the talks with the Hammers and Wolves are not as advanced as recent reports have suggested.
Indeed, according to sources close to Rondon, United will get a presentable opportunity to sign him on a permanent basis if they wish.
