The England U19s defeated Macedonia 2-0 in their opening European Championship qualifier in Skopje on Thursday.
Newcastle United striker Adam Armstrong, who has found the back of the net eight times in nine games while on loan at Coventry City, opened the scoring for the Three Lions midway through the second half.
Arsenal winger Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who is currently on loan at Ipswich Town, sealed the result with a stoppage-time header.
England's next fixture is against Finland on Saturday.
Armstrong was thrilled with his contribution as he continues his brilliant season for both club and country.
