Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin admits he's targeting a France call.

Saint-Maximin is already a key player for the Magpies, racking up four goals and seven assists in a promising first season in England.

He told Sport.fr: "Honestly, the French Team, it's the pinnacle, it's the icing on the cake, the reward when you have had a great season.

"Today, the most important thing for me is to be focused on my club performances.

"It's up to me to perform, but in all honesty, it's in the back of my mind right now."
