Newcastle United have expressed interest in Real Mallorca midfielder Kang-in Lee.

Marca says Newcastle and Championship outfit Burnley have contacted Mallorca about Lee ahead of the January market.

And the LaLiga outfit would be willing to sell at a starting price of €17m.

Newcastle scouts are following Lee at the World Cup and also had them posted for Mallorca's victory over Atletico Madrid this month.

Lee has a deal with Mallorca to 2025.
